The next chapter in the Knives Out saga has been revealed. The first trailer for Wake Up Dead Man has dropped, bringing with it a new mystery, a new look for its hero, and confirmed release dates for both theaters and Netflix. Daniel Craig returns as the brilliant Benoit Blanc.
The new mystery is a baffling one: the murder of a priest (Josh Brolin) during a church service, a crime that Blanc himself describes as “impossible.” The trailer sets a tone of high suspense, promising a classic whodunit with a modern, dramatic twist.
The new look belongs to Blanc, who is seen with longer hair and a dapper three-piece suit, a departure from his previous styles. The film also features a new all-star cast, including Glenn Close, Kerry Washington, Mila Kunis, and Jeremy Renner.
The new release dates are set for the holiday season. Following its premiere at TIFF, Wake Up Dead Man will open in select theaters on November 26th before its worldwide streaming debut on Netflix on December 12th.
