The primary objective of this newly established team is to review outstanding matters between the two nations, develop a comprehensive roadmap for their resolution, and present their findings and recommendations to the leadership of both countries within a 30-day timeframe. The joint team is set to conduct its meetings alternately in the capitals of Kuwait and Iraq—Kuwait City and Baghdad. This alternating meeting arrangement will continue until the team has fulfilled its mandate.
